Emergency: call or text 911. Jacksonville non-emergency: (904) 630-0500.

Utilities

The water bill follows the address.

The water company is the name on the bill. A ZIP code is shared by more than one utility. JEA supplies electric, water, and sewer for many addresses in consolidated Jacksonville. Report an electric or water service issue at (904) 665-6000, any hour.

Consolidated Jacksonville

JEA(904) 665-6000

That line is for a JEA customer. Atlantic Beach tells residents that electric service is JEA and that the city runs the water. A house in a beach city, Clay, or St. Johns can have a different name on the bill.

Atlantic Beach

Atlantic Beach utility billing(904) 247-5816

Customer service for city utilities other than electric is the finance line above, at city hall, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Electric service is JEA, (904) 665-6000.

Neptune Beach

Neptune Beach city hall(904) 270-2400

The city provides water, sewer, and stormwater, along with garbage. Billing questions use this city hall number. Electricity is Beaches Energy, (904) 247-6241. Jacksonville Beach public works does not handle Neptune Beach water.

Jacksonville Beach

Jacksonville Beach public works(904) 247-6219

The city provides water and sewer in the Jacksonville Beach area only. Call public works during business hours at (904) 247-6219. After hours, water, sewer, stormwater, and sanitation emergencies are (904) 247-6278. That is not the city hall switchboard. Electric service is Beaches Energy. The city’s water and sewer page sends Neptune Beach water to Neptune Beach city hall, and Ponte Vedra water to St. Johns County Utilities.

Clay County

Clay County Utility Authority(904) 272-5999

Clay County Utility Authority is the water, wastewater, and reclaimed-water utility at 3176 Old Jennings Road in Middleburg. The same number is for emergencies and for a service issue. The office is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Orange Park and Green Cove Springs run their own water inside their limits. A house outside those limits, including much of the Orange Park ZIP, may still be this authority. Read the bill.

Orange Park

Orange Park utility department(904) 278-3016

Inside the town limits, the town provides water and sewer. Electric service is JEA. The utility department is at town hall, 2042 Park Avenue, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., at (904) 278-3016. After-hours emergencies are (904) 264-5555. Weekday public works for water, sewer, stormwater, and sanitation is (904) 264-7411, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The town’s utility page is the source. A house outside the town limits is not this utility.

Green Cove Springs

Green Cove Springs city hall(904) 297-7500

City hall is (904) 297-7500. On the department phone menu, option 1 is new utilities and billing, option 2 is electrical operations including daytime outages, and option 3 is public works for sewer, streets, water, and waste removal. The menu sends nighttime power outages to the police option. This page does not add a separate after-hours water number.

St. Johns County

St. Johns County Utilities(904) 209-2700

Customer service is (904) 209-2700, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A leak, no water, low pressure, or a lift-station alarm uses that line during those hours and (904) 209-2745 after hours, on weekends, and on holidays. Many addresses in the county are on this utility. Some are not. The city of St. Augustine has its own service area, and Jacksonville Beach water stays in Jacksonville Beach.

St. Augustine

St. Augustine customer service(904) 825-1037

The city provides water and sewer inside its utility service area, which reaches outside the city limits into parts of St. Johns County. The city’s service-area map is the lookup. Set up or change an account at (904) 825-1037. After-hours emergencies are (904) 825-1040, extension 2. An address nearby can still be county water. Read the bill.

Not on this page

Baldwin and St. Augustine Beach are not assigned here. Do not give those houses the Jacksonville, Clay, or county number unless that name is on the bill. Trash day is a separate schedule. Who to call starts from the city.
